This is a campaign aimed at raising funds for a woman-led business – Dressa Collections; a fashion brand. Dressa Collections is a business initiative led by Abigail Kimuyu, a mother of two from Kenia. Her business is not only aimed at producing fashion products but also empowering other young mothers and girls through trainings (a certificate in fashion design and other related short courses) and mentorship programs. This proves the fact that, when a woman is empowered, she is more likely to reinvest in family and community, multiplying the impact.

This is not just a contribution, but an initiative where women come together to financially support and uplift other women’s dream, where every contribution, no matter how small helps another woman move forward.

At Dressa Collections, we are building a fashion ecosystem that integrates: Education, Production, Retail and entrepreneurship into one self-sustaining platform. By combining a fashion training center, design and garment production studio, retail shop and modeling/creative talent we create opportunities for students, designers, artisans, and customers to thrive together.

How the Ecosystem Works

  • Training: Aspiring designers and tailors gain hand-on skills in fashion design, garment making and business management.
  • Production: Students and professionals collaborate in our design studio to create unique, market-ready pieces.
  • Retail and E-commerce: Finished garments and accessories are sold in our physical shop and online market place.
  • Showcasing and modeling: Talent is showcased in fashion shows, exhibitions, and collaborations with modeling programs
  • Entrepreneurship and Mentorship: Graduates and creatives get support to start their own brands or join the ecosystem supply chain.
